What is the case for a powerbook? I mean, if i can get an iBook to make the same numbers aside from a marginal difference in the processor speed, what makes the powerbook any better than the iBook?

Video Card is probably better in the pBook
More connection options in the pBook (especially for video out) (PCMCIA slot).
Better screen in the pBook (specifically, higher resolution).
Max RAM is higher in the pBook.
... but if you don't need/want that stuff, then why NOT get an iBook ... it's an excellent computer.
