Sony CLIE is DEAD... End of an Era

They won't be selling it even in Japan anymore. Sayonara, Clie...



In the heady days of Palm and HandSpring, Clie made you look at it and go, hey, if I wanted to spend a few extra hundred bucks, I'd have a really cool-looking Palm OS thingy that *gasp* played music and stuff...

    The Samsung Nexio was really awesome, if only because of the fact that Samsung makes some good transflective LCDs. (this one is 5.0", 800x480) The Clie was too expensive and too heavy.

    The Samsung was pretty cool, I loved the screen on it. To bad it never made it to the US except through Dynamism.
