I have a week old laptop and the button for the latch at the front is stuck (inwards) meaning the powerbook lid wont close. I've tried using a paperclip but it doesn't work, any suggestions?

My 8 month old 15" Powerbook latch stopped holding a few weeks ago. I took it into the Apple Store in Plano TX and they sent it in for repair. Sent it in Monday, it was back at the store by Weds. afternnoon. They had to replace the whole outside bevel of the screen. No charge and 3 day turn around though, not too bad.

Send it back in for repair. At the very least ring Applecare as you still have to 90 day phone support (got to get your moneys worth)

what do you mean? You're only allowed five accounts for purchased music so I need to make sure I de-authorise my music on this computer before the new one arrives. I already have one account lost!

I lost one account by forgetting to de-authorise a computer (i assume it was an area on my old iMac!!) I forgot to de-authorise my areas, I only remembered my own. Hence it says I'm authorised on 3 and my music is only on 2. :-(
