memory question

Hi!

I have a 12" Powerbook with 512MB.

Will 768MB (removing 256 mb, adding 512 mb) be worth it,

or is 1 gb a better choice for Photoshop/Flash use?

Basicly: does it differ a LOT or just a tiny bit?

Second question, if I buy faster DDR memory, will my Powerbook just run the memory at its maximum speed, or explode or sumthing?

Thanks!

The memory will be run at the speed to powerbook uses.

I strongly suggest that you buy the memory from someone like crucial.com and going through their wizard to buy memory matched to your machine. That gets you a guarantee that the memory will work corectly with your powerbook.

If you can afford to get the most your PowerBook can get, do it! You won't regret it! OS X loves RAM. The more the merrier!
