touble with removing fonts form folders in suitcase

I'm trying to organize my fonts and want to move some fonts form one folder to another folder. When I do this the font just doesn't jump folders instead it is now in 2 different folders. So I want to remove the font from the old fold, I go ahead and select remove. When I do this the font is deleted entirely out of suitcase. To stop this I have tried the remove button, and delete, option+delete, comand+delete, shift+delete, command+option+delete, well you get the point, and every time the font is just removed form suitcase. How do I simply remove a font from just a single folder and keep it active in suitcase?
