Flatiron building or Flatiron district?
The actual Flatiron building is a wedged shaped building that got a lot of attention from being the suppose office building from the Kristy Alley show from a few years back, "Veronica's something"... Anyway the store could be located on the ground floor towards the southern end or back of the building, with an entrance on 5th Ave or 22nd street. This is a very elaborate Beaux-arts building with tremendous architectural details. An unusual choice for the minimalist Apple style, however the London store proved Apple retail stores are adaptable and always chic. One of the oldest and best Apple gear stores the independent "Tek Serve" is located one avenue and one block away from this proposed store. Kind of shame. I wish Apple had placed the newest Manhattan store uptown instead of the already saturated downtown neighborhoods. I live exactly halfway between the Soho and Flatiron stores, which to visit when I need a fix?
