When did apple start using white cords on the (black) mouse and keyboard? I noticed that the new mirrored door powermacs here at work came with white cords. I prefer the clear ones...............

Yep. If you check the online Apple Store when you go to configure a PM there's a picture of the white keyboard instead of the black like there used to be.

well, I guess with the mouse and keys white then it would look alright... but the white cord on the black mouse here makes it look kind of cheap....... like it got referbished or something.

I prefer the look of the white keyboard. I think Apple moving the black keyboard to the white cable and connector was the first part of a larger plan to move their whole line to white peripherals.
