Is it just me, or did they effectively just raise the prices?



They got rid of the mid range with superdrive so $1799 is now the entry for a superdrive iMac.



I thought that the 17" with superdrive was that same price before?



Well I was really pleased with the new powerbooks and pmacs but all I can say to this is OUCH!

The 17" Superdrive used to be $1999. There was a 15" Superdrive that went for $1799 but that's gone now.



They've effectively raised prices by $100 since the entry level 15"iMac was $1199.
