will buying aftermarket memory for my new powerbook affect the warranty. I notice that the OEm parts are more expensive. Which is better to purchase, especially if I decide to sell my powerbook down the line. Thanks for your help.

Can someone direct me to a site that sells good apple upgrades?

As far as I know, using aftermarket memory would not affect your warranty as memory is considered a user upgrade. I would stick with a quality name brand, though. I would consider Crucial memory. It has a good quality to price ratio.
