PowerBook MousePad
Am I the only one that thinks that the mouse pad on the PowerBook is a dinosaur in terms of productive usefulness? I think Apple should have updated the pad some time ago and certainly with the new 12? and 17? units. I'll take 2 buttons and a scroll zone, please... along with some software to assign left/right functions and scroll zone location. How about an assignable horizontal scroll zone? It would be quite handy in scrubbing through FinalCut footage.

Don't forget, Jobs was gone from 1986 to 1996 and Apple still kept the 1 button mouse.
Which takes us back to the question - when Apple will use all that space below the keyboard for a drawing tablet...

Never.

There is some open-source tooll for adding a scroll zone.
As to 2 buttons, Apple refuse to do it to encourage developers to make their GUIs more-or-less useful (which means: any context menu item should also be available from the menu bar, and the same applies to any toolbar button). Of course, Apple often don't stick to that themselves any more.
