iDVD 5 and "Save As" option

Hello, some q. about iDVD5 and new "Save As" otion:

- Can I install iDVD5 in an iBook G4 (non SuperDrive)?

- Will I be able to use Finder to burn my movie (saved on my HD)to an external driver (TDK indi 4x)?

    Haven't tried it, but you should be able to install iDVD as long as you have a DVD drive to install from. Whether or not iDVD will run on your machine or not is another question.



    Someone can correct me if I'm wrong, but iDVD5 can turn your project into a disc image, which you should be able to burn from any burning capable of burning a disc image, including Toast and Apple's Disk Utility.

    I've created iDVD DVD images on my laptop (which doesn't have a DVD burner), saved the image to an external hard drive, copied it to my desktop's hard drive, and then burned it with the Disk utility on my desktop. I didn't try to burn it from the Finder, nor have I tried it with an external non-Apple DVD burner.
