Strange Final Cut Batch Capture Problem with Handles
Typically when you add handles when batch capturing (for instance 1 second worth) you should get a capture file with In and Out points in place of the media start and end, and then the media start and end should be 1 second before and after their original timecode locations. This has always worked flawlessly for me.
A couple of days ago I did a large batch capture only to find out something went wacko: the media start and end came through as expected, but the Out point was not set and the In point was set 1 second later than it was supposed to.
This only happens when I add handles, the clips are fine if I dont.
For the life of me I cant figure out what has happened. Ive tried trashing all of the FCP prefs, but to no avail.
Any ideas?
