ffmpeg 0.0.9s questions
okay,
1. do y'all get a progress bar GUI thingy? right now i have it set to open up a terminal window so i can see progress okay (at a blitzing speed of 14fps average encoding, aw yeah...
), just wondering...
2. i am liking ffmpeg
3. when you click on preview, or play, it uses mplayer, i notice you can fast forward using the arrow keys... are there any other shortcuts to fast forward really fast? like shift-arrow or something like that? i couldn't find anything that really worked after bashing several keys here and there... this is only during ffmpeg use, for viewing i would use VLC --- nice and smooth, and simple nice app for playback and viewing...
thanks for your time,

2) What took so long?
3) I don't think MPlayer has super fast forward. In MPlayerX, there is a progress bar that can take you roughly where you want.

1) I ignore it. It is never accurate for me and always ends in the 400-1000% range.

thanks buddy...!!
edit: i swear bittorrent and ffmpegx is gonna void my iBook g4 warranty one day from sheer over-use of the poor laptop... which is running in about 28 deg celcius room temperature during the day
