sharing a playlist between two user accounts? how?
ok everyone here's the scenario:
my mum and i both have our own accounts on the computer. She has an iPod Mini, but not a very big collection of music, so she asked me to add some reccemended tunes.
how do i set up a playlist in my itunes application that is shared by hers too? That way all i have to do it drag the song to the playlist and it will then show up on her iTunes as well???
answers anyone?
thanks for your time

once i have my Library available to my mum's copy of iTunes, how do i take songs from my Library and add to hers? It seems i can't do this (presumably to prevent music theft?) through iTunes and have to manually reveal the song's file and then go through the 'add to library' option under File.
is there an easier way?
thanks

Is it just me, but I haven't managed to get sharing across user accounts working in quite a few versions of iTunes (now on 5.0.1). I've got all the settings right in terms of sharing and looking for shared music but it just isn't showing up. And I am keeping iTunes open if that is necessary!! Any help
maybe you have a firewall on that is blocking the port that itunes uses? Otherwise it should work, and always has worked with no issues at all for me and my 4 computers. good luck, Randy
