Handheld recommendations?

My patience is running out and I'm considering buying a handheld/Pocket PC. I loathe the idea of buying a Windows device, but I need something pocket size that I can view web pages and image-based email attachments. I'd also like a keyboard built in.

I've been looking at the HP iPaq H4350 and the hx4700 which has a 640x480 screen but no keyboard.

What can I actually hope for from these devices in real terms? Will I be able to log on to my Ameritrade account, view jpeg attachments and shop on Amazon etc or am I expecting too much? I realize screen realestate is a big issue, but I'm also not familiar with the pocket versions of the apps that are included.

I've got an iPaq 4155, which has both Bluetooth and WiFi. I love it. I loathe windows as well, but as far as handhelds are concerned, Windows Mobile isn't bad. If you want to do a lot of emailing, you may want to consider a model with a keyboard. I don't really have a problem, but if I did a lot of input, I might feel differently.

I sync using Bluetooth with PocketMac and it works great either with Entourage or ical/addressbook. It also mounts a drive so I can drag files over.

the 4350 would be a great buy.

I've got an iPaq 1945, which I dearly love. Microsoft got it right.

If you're the more geeky sort I would wholeheartedly recommend something from the Sharp Zaurus line of PDA's. I have a Zaurus SL-6000. There are also the clamshell series from japan that you will either have to go to Japan to pick up or order from someplace like www.dynamism.com
