does keychain store passwords in other places?

i hate saving my passwords for obvious reasons, but i feel pretty safe with my mac. just in case tho, im wondering if keychain stores the passwords ANYWHERE else other then the little list that pops up when you open the app.



and if it does where? is it automaticly deleted too when u delete the passwords on the list?

    Those lists are stored in ~/Library/Keychains and that's it, one file for each list.
