I just bought the AirPort Extreme with the OMNI external antenna from Apple. What web sites or other places can I get a signal booster for this?

Isn't the Omni external antenna a signal booster?

Don't build cantennas kids. It may make you leet, but it wont boost your range. An iBook with an external cantenna loses range and experiences increased interference. If you're really looking for greater directional range you're going to need a good yagi.

scroll to the bottom of the AE tech specs page and you'll find links to the Dr.Bott Omni and Directional antennae Apple Part #s.

doesn't say you can't gang them together...

I posted the link because it provides info on making your own transmittor/reciever thing and how to wire it to your computer's wi-fi take the general ideas and apply it to a proper signal boosting can, and you could DIY.

I bought the OMNI... Now is there anything I can hook between the OMNI and the Airport Extreme to boost power?

Yes you could buy a PA (power amplifier). The Airports IIRC put out a 2.4-2.5GHz signal with a power of .1 watt. They sell indoor and out door amplifiers that hook inline (between the antenna and the basestation) and can supply .5 watt or 1 watt. How far do you want to go anyhow? <a href="http://www.fab-corp.com/H1.htm"; target="_blank">Fab-corp</a> has a nice 1 watt indoor amp for $299 which provides at least 17 dB gain send/recieve. Keep in mind that every 3 dB gain is a double in distance. However, you bought the Bott antenna which I dont think you can detach the cable from so you're kinda screwed on that one (unless you take it appart. If you take it appart and it has the Airport plug on one end and another end with an N connector just unscrew it hook it into the amp and then get an N to N cable for the amp to the antenna run. If you need a new antenna and dont want to pay the huge price of a dr bott or premade antenna, try <a href="http://www.aerialix.com/"; target="_blank">Aerialix</a> they have an 8 dB gain omnidirectional antenna kit for $37. I built one it took about an hour and works great but you need the Airport to SMA cable or whatever which you can buy from them. I think the Bott is a 3.5 dB gain antenna not quite sure though. God talk about a crash course in Airport extension, sheesh.

(Edit: Dr Bott antenna is a crappy 3.5 dB gain antenna yeah Id build my own for sure again rather then buy one for $100)
