Please explain

Can somebody explain the difference between working at an Apple Store and being an Apple Rep at CompUsa? Our Apple Store just opened this week and I asked the CompUsa Apple Rep if he was going to work there. He said no because he got better benefits then the Apple Store employees although they are both Apple employees.
