Ultra thin cameras

My parents have decided to upgrade to an ultra thin camera before their next trip (June). Right now they are looking at the Canon Powershot SD500, Nikon Coolpix S1 and the Sony Cyber shot DSC-T33 (the T7) might not be availible when they leave. I have always had good results with Canon and Olympus cameras. Has anyone used any of these and what are their impressions. http://www.dcresource.com/ and http://www.dpreview.com/ give good individual reviews but don't compare them to each other. From the reviews I lean to the Sony. I am just looking for more input for them. Thanks

I'd get the Canon, or a Pentax Optio S or Casio Exilim. The're all comparable, have gotten solid reviews, and have that cool factor that the sony doesn't have for me.

I have the Sony DSC-T11, just about the same as the T-33 your looking at. Its a great camera, unbelievably small for 5mp with a big, clear LCD. The T33 is an updated version of the original T1, which my brother has and is also a great camera. i would recommend any of the T series. The only bad thing i have found would be the week flash.
