iTunes display question

For the life of me I cant find how to change what is shown in the top pane of iTunes.. currently I have genre, artist album shown there and I want to get rid of the genre section (which I didnt ever add myself btw it just popped up a few revisions ago... and its such a crappy thing to have since noone ever labels things correctly... I hate it, help ease my pain !!!!) .. the bottom pane no dramas easy to change but how does the top one get modified !

    Easy peasy...



    Go into iTunes' Preferences window, select the General tab, and then uncheck the "Show genre when browsing" option. Gone.
