Maybe this update will be substantial but I doubt it. The last cs1 sure wasn't.
We lost speed and problems with corruption of files.
Adobe seems to be floating with PS instead of coming up with cutting edge improvements. Limitations with apps allocation of ram should be gone with tiger and no mention if this version will take advantage of it.Not to mention the 2500 large brush size limitation, sluggish and snail like filter and Liquify add on pallets, and ancient filter set, If not,...pass.
It also seems like windblows may be holding back any significant development of PS under the hood. Adobe needs to listen to it's core users, dump some of the current stale developers ( head case T. Knoll ) and get some young blood in there.

I hope they optimized it a little better for speed. I have it, but have reverted to using version 7 because CS is so sluggish.
