A pocketknife usually does the trick if its justb a normal type of keyboard. Use the nail file or something, not the knife itself.
Most keyboards have the key, than a funky connector thing that the key pesses down. If it's the funky connector thing that is the problem, not the key itself, I dont know what u can do.
For that I'm not sure. All keyboards are pretty much built alike, but mouse pads not eally sure.
You could still try prising up the key, but dont force it. If you cant get it off from that open up the case (shouldn't be too difficult, just find the screws), and check for the mouse pad from beneath.

This button is the mouse button on my iBook. Does it pop off like the keyboard keys?
