Apple Store Program

Does anyone know what the utility that he Apple Store uses or one that is similar. It is like a application launcher in the middle of the screen that Apple has like 3 things there, like to sign up for the Genius bar. It is just an oval darker than the desktop in the center, that I would put documents that I am working on, and the direct link to my website etc.

    I have the program. The functions are built-in and I am pretty sure it is not customizable, but I would love to be proven wrong here. I tried and messed up the binary code (thank god for backups). I assure you I did NOT hack into the apple store computers or copy it from there. I downloaded it from the internet, but all links to download it appear to have been taken down. PM me if you want it.

    it says that u cant receive private meaages. however i would like it very much. can you chose what to put in the box? or is it only 2 sign up 4 genius bar etc?

    I just enabled PMs so it should work now. Here is a screenshot of the app:



    Go to my website and click the link at the bottom. A screenshot should appear.



    PM me your email address or if you have one, your .mac user name so i can put it on your idisk public folder. I'll zip it as soon as you send me that.





    EDIT: you can't customize anything. don't touch the code because any modifications will make the app unusable. it can only be used to sign up for genius bar etc.

    Its not really a dashboard widget because its on 10.3 . Its just a regular app that doesn't show up in the dock or the force-quit dialog. Many apps don't show up in the dock.
