Upgrading ram on my G$ PMac...

I'd like to upgrade the ram on my dual 1Ghz G4 Powermac. I just looked it up on Crucial and found 2700, & 3200 DIMMs. Both the same 512mb, and price ($53.34). Is there a better option, or are they the same? Is Crucial my best option?

Any suggestions?

3200 is better; but may not compatible with 1.6GHz PowerPC G5.

You can check out Apple's RAM specifications for each model at:

It looks like they only used the slower RAM in the low-end 1.6 Ghz G5, but it should support 3200 as well; or at least, that's the way it used to work!

    whoops...a little off-topic about G5's.

Either should be fine; for good prices, I usually go to dealmac.com

I saw 512 MB units for 37 bucks (not shipped, I think).
