Would a 12' 1.2GHz iBook with 256Ram be able to run Logic Pro without freezing all the time? If not, what would be the specs needed?
1.2ghz G4 is plenty of processor, but the minimum RAM you'll need is 512mb (ideally 1gb for the best user experience). I run Logic Pro 6 on a 1ghz PowerBook with 1gb of RAM and I've no complaints.
A RAM upgrade will also make you feel like you've got yourself a new computer when running the apps you already use. I'd recommend it even if you weren't planning on running Logic. Check crucial.com for decent prices and reliable service.
