Post some of your favorite smart playlist combinations here!! And other smart things to do with the smart playlist feature in iTunes.





Just made one today.



a smart playlist with 100 songs selected by Date Added and i did 100 newest.

    some of my favorites:



    colors:

    if the title of a song contains any of these words:

    white

    yellow

    red

    blue

    brown

    green

    purple

    etc



    new stuff not heard:

    date added is within 4 weeks

    playcount is zero



    good stuff not heard lately:

    my rating is the range 4 to 5 stars

    last played not within the past 6 weeks



    The above requires you take the time to rate your library.

    I admit this is a bit time consuming. Initially I gave my favorite artists a 3 star rating for all their songs and gradually adjusted each track up or down as I had time.

    I've also started to immediately rate new songs as I buy or add them.
