What is job market like in Vancouver for software designers?

I have a yearning for the province of my birth - British Columbia has sweet air and water, not like North Carolina.



Are there legions of programmers and engineers roaming the land like down here? How hard is it to get a job there? Are the salaries OK? I heard they dropped the tax rate?



Any input would be appriciated...
