New IBM LCD looks good

in Current Mac Hardware edited January 2014
20" display at 1600 x 1200.

Not widescreen but it looks quite sleek in black.

I thought this would have been the kind of floating display Apple should have come out with since they've already done something similar with the 17" iMac.

I don't like the base, it's to "squary"

For LCD monitors you HAVE to see them in person no matter how fancy their specs are on paper.

Formac Gallery 2010 is one great example. Good spec (on paper) but the actual thing really sucks

I like it, looks very utilitarian and businesslike (like all IBM products). The stand looks pretty nice to use, maybe not as great as the iMac, but better than some stands.

Looks kinda small for a 20" LCD...

We just received two IBM monitors in our lab at work...not the same ones, but the same color and they look nice.

Apple's 20" is cheaper and looks better. (How often can you say that ) Also, what's the contrast ratio on that thing? Couldn't find it.
