iCal...why can't we enter events online?

It would be great to enter calendar events online through .mac. That way I could use it on my pc at work. Instead, I can just look at dates and not edit any.



Any way to get around this on a pc?

    To be fair to Apple there is a standard group already formed to create a standard for this (CalDAV), and if Apple were to introduce anything now they would just confuse things with a proprietary method. Things are finally starting to come together, so I would hope to start seeing implementations before the end of the year.
