my g4 powerpc needs PC133 ram and i'm looking for another good stick of 512mb, but all i see now adays are PC2700. would this ram still work if i stick it in my comp?

Nope. They aren't compatible. However, PC133 is still out there, you just have to go to local shops or online for it:
