Xserve on apple.com???

How long have the Xserve updates occupied the front page now? iMac only had, what, a week? This is obviously further proof that Apple wants to get in on this market but also I wonder what the sales spike has been like after the updates. Anyone care to speculate?

    Well, I dont think an xserve is an impulse buy so I dont think that the front page of apple.com impacts the sale of xserves very much...

    And if they want to enter the high end server market they are going to have to do better than an xserve.

    Actually, Apple.com always has the latest released major product update on the front page. Which is Xserve / Xserve RAID.

    I suspect it has remained this long because the next front page will be the up-dated iPods, seemingly long overdue. Maybe tomorrow?
