Tiger users: iTunes trouble?

i'm one of the lucky sods that got their copy of Tiger early...i've been so stoked about running this OS, but i've found that it has most definitely been rushed out the door...for example - i don't know if i'm doing something wrong, but i can no longer change the names of any song name, artist, genre, etc in itunes. its as if every music file of mine is locked. anyone else experiencing this? is there some new option that i don't know about that i need to uncheck so i can correct mistakes in titles, etc???

In a completely different context -- people trying to use a Roku SoundBridge with iTunes -- an update to Tiger was causing trouble, trouble which apparently was solved by going into the Advance tab of the iTunes Preferences dialog and manually reacquainting iTunes with your "iTunes Music folder location".

Maybe this procedure will help you as well.

i've been messing around with the permissions...it seems as if setting the owner of the music folder as "system" allows me to change the track names...
