Adaptec 2906 broken in 10.3.9, correct?

Just to verify, the adaptec 2906 in my g4 533 does not allow my old Umax Powerlook scanner to operate under 10.3.9, correct?



Does anyone think 10.4 will fix the adaptec issue? If not, I'm going to buy a Canon LiDe scanner for $100 or so, to replace my old scanner that had cost $2000+

    I thought that card wasn't compatible with Panther or Tiger, at least officially. But I could be wrong, I might be thinking of another Adaptec card.

    Hmm this is what I am starting to believe too. I was just hoping perhaps Tiger fixed this.
