Excel's column limit...it is so annoying...why can't I have more columns?

Why can't I go past IV for columns but can go to 65536 for rows??? This is freekn' stupid. I run up against the column barrier constantly and this really annoys me.



I wish they would have more powerful look up and reference features too but that is another thread.

    Not really a solution but a possible workaround.



    Have you thought about possibly grouping the data and using more worksheets?



    Not pretty, but might help a bit....dependent on the data of course

    That is what I am forced to do everytime. It really does suck and makes for some ******* hard formulas doing what I do. But, that is all I have at the moment.
