How can I make an ISO in Tiger?

Question:
How can I make a standard ISO of say a CD in Tiger?
Any ideas is very appreciated, especially if I dont have to use third party software.

I don't know that you can.
You may have to go 3rd party. Toast's disc images are iso files, so you can rename file.toast to file.iso without problems.

So no own knows about using the BSD command "dd"?
So in other words...
dd if=dev/disk1 of=users/nomadg5/desktop/cd.iso
i tried it but it doesn't create a file system for the disk. I dont know I am confused.
