Tiger Safari not showing apostrophes, umlauts, etc...

For some reason, Safari stopped showing certain punctuation correctly like it used to before I installed Tiger.







Nothing special about my install or system, I keep it quite bare and stock.



Any ideas?

    Perhaps it's the font?

    Corrupt you mean? I didn't set any particular font, just whatever Safari uses...



    It does show correctly if I set the text encoding to Western ISO Latin 1 but I shouldn't need to, right?



    Hm...not sure what I used to have it set for prior to Tiger...



    I guess problem kinda solved? It works...
