Is my SP 933Mhz Powermac on steroids?

Who says you can't effectivly multitask with a single procesor Powermac.



Right now I'm uploading 47 photo's to my .Mac homepage, typing this and listening to iTunes. I also have a Word document open and there is no lag at all in any of these applications.



I am using the Geforce 4Ti graphic card & 1.5gig's of RAM, but would this make such a great difference from a stock 933Mhz Powermac?

    Duals are better of course, but still. Really, what you're describing is not a workout at all for that machine. An iBook can do that without breaking a sweat.

    Throw DVD encoding and EyeTV recording into that mix, and you have my G4 933 every other weekend. I have yet to bog this machine down.

    Or compile some giant project, gcc loves processor. Really kills my DP1250 (well at least they compile faster...). Throw VirtualPC use in the mix, and you have one slow computer. Sure wish this box was faster sometimes.
