Airport Setup Assistant wont recognize airport

My Airport Setup Assistant wont recognize the airport but can still connect to the web and it wont connect to the network. Any ideas?

    Connect directly to the airport via ethernet cable, and set the IP address of the device to be on the same subnet as the rest of your network.
