Anyone using powerbook 15" 1.25 upgrade to tiger?

I've got a powerbook 15" 1.25 with 512ram(which is not enough for my needs but it's gonna have to stay that way for a while) So my question is, if I upgrade to tiger will i see a increase in performance? especially the finder which can be terribly slow, it drives me crazy. I know more ram would help. Would that clear up my slow finder in panther? Tiger? I'm mostly photoshoping iTunes and surfing. Any advice would be appreciated. thanx

    That's exactly the hardware I have and I did indeed obtain a performance boost after installing Tiger (clean install).



    Finder is a little quicker, Spotlight is a fast as you can type, and bootup is considerably faster. I have 768 meg of RAM.
