any ideas about this? I can't seem to run or enable it on my PB...but i thought it was curious that the ink preference was related to tablet.

Because it needs a Wacom tablet (or any other brand if there are any).

Ink is used only in conjunction with drawing tablets, like the ones from Wacom.

Ink is not an indication of some upcoming Apple "tablet" computer, although were one to ever come out, it'd likely use it.

Ink's been around for years. It enables itself when you plug in a tablet.
