Imac as TV

Hi, i need to conserve space, is 20inch imac with a external tv tuner ok for watching TV on?

    it works just fine ... you lookng at one of the elgato offerings ?

    yeah, i would either get a flat screen tv and hook my ibook up to it or get a imac, this may sound stupid but how big is 17inch :P, lol my ibook is a 14inch screen

    how good is the elgato as a PVR, i got a PVR set top box made by humax already but i want this to be a substitute, i can then leave the box at home and then i can leave my home setup undisturbed

    I been looking at the 410, is that compatible with freeview in the UK, also whats this about the card slot?, does that allow top up tv if i decide i want it at a later date
