Font Book problems in Tiger?

My applications can't decide if fonts are available or not. They'll keep switching the fonts on and of several times a second, resulting in a 'jumpy' because the apps keep reflowing the text between the correct font and what looks like courier.



Font Book reckons the fonts are enabled.



Anybody else experienced this?
