Photoshop CS problem in Tiger

So after upgrading to Tiger (Archive & Install), I can't double click on a Photoshop document to open it in Photoshop, nor can I open one by dragging the icon onto the Photoshop dock icon. The only way to open files in Photoshop appears to be by navigating through the File -> Open command.

Is anyone else having this problem? Do we know if Adobe or Apple will be fixing it?

There's not much for me in CS2, and I'd hate to be forced to buy it.

yes, exact same thing happened to me as well.

    On 2 Macs.

One I did Archive and Install and on the other I did a clean Install but then moved over the Application Support, prefs, etc...

I have a feeling that if you reinstall CS from scratch it will be fine.

I installed CS2 Photoshop on one of the machines and it worked fine as well

Did you try just right-clicking on the document and selecting Open With... Photoshop CS?

I had this happen to me in 10.3. Just trash it and do a clean reinstall, then it should work fine.

Go into your previous drive level Library and copy the ScriptingAdditions folder which contains Adobe Unit Types to your currently active drive level Library folder.

This should fix the opening problem.
