ok i dont think i installed auto hide or any application like it, i am running 10.4.1, and whenever i open a program or use the dock to switch to another app it hides the other apps, how can i turn this off its driving me nuts.
I'm pretty sure that isn't possible without having a menustrip/autohide type app doing it for you, is it at all possible you've installed some multi function app like quicksilver that has auto hide included?

Perhaps an Application Enhancer like Window Dragon (Thanks again, Hobbes in case you're reading this...)
