Powerbook exposed to sunlight?

There are two places in my apartment where I can work on my computer. In my bedroom (little dark hobbit-hole), or at my dinner table (looking out of a large, west-facing window). I prefer to work at my dinner table, because there's more room and because having a window is nice. However, in the late afternoon, a lot of sunlight comes streaming in through the window. Would it in any way harm the Powerbook to be exposed to that? My apartment doesn't get excessively hot--I have air conditioning--but the back of the machine gets hit by sunlight for a few hours on end.

The sunlight might start to bleach the color maybe, but I'm not sure about that on the PowerBooks...

I don't think sunlight can bleach aluminum

Sorry, I'm very new to Apples and I had assumed from what I saw shopping that all iBooks were white plastic, and all PowerBooks were aluminum. Clearly that was an erroneous assumption.

No, you're correct in that, but there are a lot of older black plastic PowerBooks still running and kicking out there. I have a five year old PowerBook that still does light duty around the house.

The older models were Titanium or plastic depending on how old you go.
