Dashboard Widgets can't get on the internet

For some unknown reason, all of the sudden, my dashboard widgets which use the internet don't work. (weather, phonebook, stocks). They all cannot connect to wherever they are trying to get too.



I tried refreshing each widget, restarting the computer, logging out, etc. Nothing worked. I am on the internet because i was obviously able to type this.



Does anybody have any idea why this may be happening and how to fix it? Any help would be appreciated

nevermind. It seems to have fixed itself
