HALO crashes on launch (Tiger 10.4.1)

I just installed Tiger (fresh install, not upgrade or archive) & I can't get HALO to launch. The settings screen appears (aqua screen, not the settings screen within the game), but when I click ok and go into the actual game (screen blacks out and the logo appears) the game immediately exits and goes back to the Finder.



This is a fresh install (both OS X & HALO)

I updated HALO to 1.5.2 (latest) before even trying to run the game the first time.

    It seems like a LOT of games are crashing in 10.4..

    What other games don't work?



    I have had no problems with UT 2004 ( the only game i own ATM)

    UT2004 works for me too...

    It's only HALO that seems to be the problem...



    When I launch HALO, after the initial settings screen, the logo appears (game start), then flashes and crashes... Back to the Desktop...
