G4 ibook wake/power on ODD noise.
I recently purchased my 12" G4 ibook. love it lots. question:
when ever i start the machine or wake it from sleeping it makes a really odd sound. i cant even describe it or tell you where it comes from its. almost like a digital growl or something ( i did recently install tiger... hmm..
). its a soft sound and only last for a second. being that there can only be a few movable parts im suspecting its the combo drive initializing or the hd power on activities.
My question is , is this normal behavoir does your g4 ibooks do this too ?
