Virtual CD/DVD drives

Well seeing how i'm getting my first mac soon(excited), i'm researching around for software similar to those that i use in windows. I was wondering if there is a program that let's you mount images (.cue.bin.iso etc...) onto virtual drives? I use this alot on my pc because i'm totally unorganised when dealing with my mountain of cds and seeing how I'm getting a notebook with just ONE cd-drive, I'd like some extra virtual ones just so i can do more stuff at the same time.

so! does this software exists for mac?

    Smiple, just use the built in program called disk utility. This will let you create an image of the CD. You can then mount this image and it will appear on the system just like any other drive.



    You'll find that disk images are used alot on the Mac. A lots of software is distributed as disk images.
