If Intel manufactures the PPC chip for Apple, how does that effect IBM?

If Intel indeed starts to manufacture the PPC chip for Apple, how does that effect IBM?

    IBM would probably sue Intel and Apple...



    I just don't see this happening - Intel would have to do a complete design cycle on their own version of a core that supports the PPC ISA - they could not legally just start producing from IBM's designs let alone the masks which are fab process dependent.
